We partner with Seattle's craft breweries to highlight & support local makers in the community. Our brewery events include a tasting flight, tour of the facility & more. Modern WhichCraft also partners with other local businesses for events & camaraderie.
MEET OUR DRINKING BUDDIES:
Tucked away in an unassuming neighborhood in South Park, Lowercase is a prime destination for craft beer lovers. Chris Smith's passion is his hobby: making good beer. Lucky for us, he's also a DIY-er himself! We've held multiple events at Lowercase including an afternoon of crafting new tasting trays for the brewery.
If anyone knows craft cider, it's Colin Schilling - he's been making the stuff since he was 14 years old. You'll find two Schilling locations in Washington - a cider bar in Fremont featuring the most on tap in the country (8 Schilling, 24 from other cider makers) & a cider house in Auburn where Schilling cider is crafted. Modern WhichCraft was lucky enough to hold an event in the cider house & get a taste of where the magic happens!
Outer Planet is Capitol Hill's small - but mighty - nano brewery! Brewmaster Jim Stoccardo makes the most out of the limited space he has & features 8 beers on tap at any given time. Oh, did I mention he's got old sci-fi flicks playing on the TVs?
Babeland is a true landmark in Seattle as the first women-friendly adult toy store. Babeland does an incredible job of providing a comfortable shopping experience for everyone & offering education on a wide range of subjects in their industry. They offer classes & hold events quite frequently - we are extremely honored to have been invited as recurring hosts.
Antsquare serves an important role for local makers in Seattle by offering a simple selling & buying platform as well as their support & encouragement to the community. Antsquare has generously hosted Modern WhichCraft events in their super rad space near South Lake Union.
